If your work hours reduce to under 30 hours per week, you will no longer be eligible for DXC health and welfare benefits. However, you may have some opportunities to continue certain coverages.
- If you have been working for DXC an average of 30 hours per week, you may continue your medical plan enrollment for the remainder of the calendar year.
- You may be able to continue your health care coverage (medical, dental and vision) under the plan(s) in which you are currently enrolled through COBRA (the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act).
- Update your beneficiary information to protect your family’s financial well-being.
- This may be a good time to access services through the LifeManagement Employee Assistance Program (EAP). You can meet with a Money Coach for 30 minutes up to three times per topic per year.
- Review your emergency contact in Workday and make any necessary updates.
- Consider if you should start or change your contributions in the DXC 401(k) plan.
