It’s important to keep your home address current as it impacts your health plan options and costs, taxes, state disability options and more.
Planning for your move:
- Even if you are only moving a short distance, that can impact your benefits eligibility. Take a few moments to do some research so you aren’t surprised later. Use DXC’s interactive pricing tool to see if your current health plan options will be available to you and if there is a change in cost. You can request the password through the DXC Benefits Center.
- Even if your health plan is still available to you, access the carrier preview websites and use the provider lookup tool to verify if your providers are still in your new network.
After your move:
- Update your address in Workday no later than 30 days from the date of your address change.
- If you move your residence and/or work location to a new ZIP code, you may receive a notification from the DXC Benefits Center about how to review your new health plan options and how to update your elections if needed. The notification might arrive up to two weeks after you update your address in Workday and will be sent from the DXC Benefits Center to your preferred notification option (USPS mail or email). You can update your preferred notification option at any time (log in and go to your Profile). For faster notification, choose email. You can also check your DXC Benefits Center account (log in and select the Life Events menu at the top of the homepage) within 5 – 7 days of updating your address to see if your health care options and costs have changed.
- Make your new elections within 30 days of your change of address. Log in to your DXC Benefits Center account and select the Life Events menu at the top of the homepage. If you don’t make new elections, your coverage may be canceled. Your next opportunity to enroll or make changes will be during Benefits Annual Enrollment or, for some benefits, within 30 days of a qualified life event.
- If needed, update your information in your personal accounts through the applicable vendors.
- Update your beneficiary information to protect your family’s financial well-being.
- Review your emergency contact in Workday and make any necessary updates.
