Keep your smile happy and healthy.
This page describes the DXC dental benefits options for U.S. employees, excluding those in Puerto Rico. If you are an employee in Puerto Rico, dental coverage is included in your DXC medical plan.
DXC offers a variety of dental plan options, carriers and costs, giving you the flexibility to choose coverage that is right for you and your family. The specific options available to you depend on where you live.
Costs for each dental insurance option vary by coverage level and carrier, dependents covered and home ZIP code. You can see your specific costs when you make your elections through the online enrollment system.
You can elect dental insurance for yourself and your dependents when you are newly eligible, during Benefits Annual Enrollment or within 30 days of a qualifying life event. You do not need to be enrolled in medical coverage to elect dental insurance.
Choose your coverage level
You can choose from several different coverage levels:
- Bronze: A PPO option that covers in- and out-of-network care, but does not cover major services or orthodontic expenses
- Silver: A buy-up to the Bronze option that covers in- and out-of-network care, including coverage for major services and, for children up to age 19, orthodontic expenses
- Gold: An enhanced option that covers in- and out-of-network care, including coverage for major services and orthodontic expenses for children and adults
- Platinum: A DHMO option that covers in-network care only, including orthodontic expenses for children and adults (not available in some limited areas). You must choose a primary care dentist to provide or coordinate all of your care. If you receive services from another provider, even one who is in-network, you may be required to pay the full cost of those services. (This option is not available in all areas.)
Although the Bronze, Silver and Gold plans provide coverage for out-of-network care, you will receive a discounted rate — and pay less out of your pocket — when you receive care from dental care providers in the carrier’s network.
Choose your carrier
You can choose from these dental insurance carriers:
