Your ex-spouse/domestic partner is no longer considered an eligible dependent for DXC benefits plans. Within 30 days of the divorce, you must update your benefits to remove them from coverage. This is also a good time to consider DXC resources that can help support you during this time in your life.
- Remove your ex-spouse/domestic partner from your benefits (and make any other benefits updates) within 30 days of the date of your divorce or end of domestic partnership. Log in to your DXC Benefits Center account and select the Life Events menu at the top of the homepage.
- Through COBRA (the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act), your spouse/domestic partner may be able to continue their health care coverage (medical, dental and vision) under the plan(s) in which they are currently enrolled.
- If your legal name, address, phone number and/or email has changed, update your personal information.
- Start or change your contributions in the DXC 401(k) plan.
- Update your beneficiary information to protect your family’s financial well-being.
- Explore the Resource Center of this site for specific resources and services that can help you during this time of your life, such as free will preparation services through MetLife, free attorney consultations and money coaching through the LifeManagement Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and more.
- Review your emergency contact in Workday and make any necessary updates.
