You can make changes to your health and welfare benefits within 30 days of getting married or starting a domestic partnership. This is also a good time to consider DXC resources for this new chapter of your life.
- You can add your spouse/domestic partner to your benefits or drop coverage for yourself if you become covered under your spouse/domestic partner’s benefits. Log in to your DXC Benefits Center account and select the Life Events menu at the top of the homepage.
- You might also want to elect or increase your insurance benefits and enroll your spouse/domestic partner in dependent life insurance. Log in to your DXC Benefits Center account and select the Life Events menu at the top of the homepage.
- After you add your new spouse/domestic partner to a DXC benefits plan, you’ll be asked to submit a copy of your marriage certificate and/or other dependent verification, as applicable. If you don’t have the marriage certificate yet, you must still add your spouse/domestic partner to your coverage within 30 days and provide the certificate when you receive it.
- Start or increase your DXC 401(k) contributions.
- Update your beneficiary information to protect your family’s financial well-being.
- Explore the Resource Center of this site for specific resources and services that can help you during this time of your life, such as free will preparation services through MetLife, free attorney consultations and money coaching through the LifeManagement Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and more.
- Review your emergency contact in Workday and make any necessary updates.
- Share this website with your new spouse/domestic partner, so they can learn about DXC’s benefits, too.
