Annual Enrollment is November 2–16, 2026
Annual Enrollment is your chance to review and make changes to your benefits for 2027. Spend some time to review your options, consider your needs, and ensure that you and your family have the benefits you need for next year.
What’s New for U.S. Employees
Make sure you know what’s new and changing for 2027 when it comes to medical coverage, disability protection, and the spending and savings accounts. You’re also invited to a live webinar facilitated by the U.S. Benefits team:
- Monday, November 2, 1 p.m.-2:30 p.m. ET
- Thursday, November 5, 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. ET
Medical Plan Updates
Deductibles in two medical plan options will increase to comply with IRS regulations for high-deductible health plans:
| Medical Plan Annual Deductible | Bronze | Silver |
|---|---|---|
| Individual | $3,500 (increase of $100) | $1,750 (increase of $50) |
| With Dependents | $7,000 (increase of $200) | $3,500 (increase of $100) |
See pages 5-18 of the Benefits Guide to compare all the medical plan options. If you live in California or Hawaii, make sure you review your specific options.
Updated Rates for Health Care Coverage
Costs for medical coverage can change each year, and what you pay in 2027 may be higher or lower depending on the plan you enroll in, whether you cover dependents and what region of the country you live in. Carefully review all the options and costs available to you before making a selection.
You have two tools to help you select a plan:
- The interactive pricing tool to preview your 2027 health plan costs. You can also find specific costs when you enroll for 2027. (The access code is in the 2027 Annual Enrollment preview email you received on October 22.)
- If you live in Hawaii, use the Hawaii interactive pricing tool instead.
- The Help Me Choose tool in the enrollment system of the DXC Benefits Center.
Enhanced Disability Coverage
DXC will fully cover the cost of Core Short-Term and Long-Term Disability coverage in 2027. The Core coverage comes automatically, and you don’t need to enroll in those plans.
If you would like additional protection, you will have the option of Buy-Up plans to provide greater benefits. Review the comparison table below.
For 2027 Annual Enrollment: There is no Evidence of Insurability (EOI) requirement for the Buy-Up coverage. If you elect the Buy-Up coverage in future years, there will be EOI required.
| Core Short-Term Disability | Buy-Up Short-Term Disability | Core Long-Term Disability | Buy-Up Long-Term Disability | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Who pays for coverage | DXC | You | DXC | You |
| Benefit amount | 50% of eligible pay, up to $1,500/week | 60% of eligible pay, up to $2,500/week | 60% of eligible pay, up to $10,000/month | 66.67% of eligible pay, up to $15,000/month |

New Spending and Savings Account Platform
MetLife remains our administrator for Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), Health Savings Account (HSAs) and Commuter Accounts. However, MetLife will begin partnering with HealthEquity on January 1, 2027.
For employees, this means:
- Your day-to-day access to your account will switch to the HealthEquity platform and mobile app.
- You will automatically have an account created for you by HealthEquity. After you receive a welcome kit in December, you will need to log in for the first time.
- You will receive a new HealthEquity-branded debit card in December if you enroll in an FSA or HSA for 2027, or if you have a remaining balance at the end of 2026.
- While MetLife and HealthEquity are making every effort to mirror prior settings in the system, you will need to enter your bank account details directly into the HealthEquity member portal for reimbursement requests after January 1, 2027.
None of these changes will have an effect on your actual funds.
IRS Increase in HSA Maximums
The IRS has increased the maximums for HSA contributions for 2027:
- $4,500 for employee-only coverage
- $9,000 for employee + dependents coverage
Employees who are 55 or older can contribute an additional $1,000 next year.
Important: If you earn incentives through the Healthy Behaviors Wellness Program, those contributions count toward the IRS maximum.
Four Things to Know for Annual Enrollment
If You Don’t Take Action
If you don’t take action during Annual Enrollment, your current elections will continue (based on 2027 costs and coverage), except for FSA contributions, which do not carry over from year to year. You must re-enroll in an FSA every year. Remember, after Annual Enrollment, you cannot update your benefit elections except within 30 days of a qualified life event such as marriage, birth or adoption.
- Review the 2027 Benefits Guide for details about your options and what to consider when making your choices for next year.
- If you’re a U.S. employee, use the interactive pricing tool to preview your 2027 health plan costs. You can also find specific costs when you enroll for 2027. (The access code is in the 2027 Annual Enrollment preview email you received on October 22.)
- If you live in Hawaii, use the Hawaii interactive pricing tool instead.
- If you need help choosing a medical plan or confirming the plan you’re in now, use the “Help Me Choose” tool in the DXC Benefits Center.
- Between November 2-16, log in to the DXC Benefits Center enrollment portal to enroll.
- Review your covered dependents and make updates if needed.
- Elect a 2027 Health Savings Account (HSA), if eligible, to contribute money from your paycheck or have your 2027 wellness incentives deposited to this account.
- Contribute to a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for health care or dependent day care expenses.
- Elect any other benefits, including Buy-Up disability coverage, Supplemental Life Insurance, and/or Whole Life with Long-Term Care Insurance.
- Review your beneficiary information and make updates if needed.
- For your 2027 elections to be submitted, you must “Approve” your elections and receive a confirmation number at the end of the enrollment process. Your elections will not save automatically, and any pending elections not approved will be cancelled.
For New Hires Only
If you need to choose your benefits as a new hire (or after becoming newly benefits-eligible) or if you need to update your benefits elections after a qualified life event, you will be prompted to choose/update your 2027 benefits after you choose/update your 2026 benefits.
Make sure you complete both the 2026 and 2027 enrollment process.
Things to Do After Annual Enrollment
- If you added a dependent, you must provide their eligibility documentation (e.g., marriage or birth certificate) before their coverage can take effect.
- If you haven’t already, register on your medical, dental and vision plan carrier’s website or mobile app to see important information about your coverage, access digital ID cards and manage your claims.
- If you enrolled in or switched to a new medical or dental plan or the EyeMed vision plan, you will receive a physical ID card in the mail. For other vision plans, you can access an electronic ID card by registering on the carrier’s website or mobile app.
- If you elected or increased Supplemental Life Insurance, complete the online Statement of Health application (can take 5 to 15 minutes), which is subject to carrier approval. This is called Evidence of Insurability (EOI).
- If you enroll in the Bronze, Bronze Plus or Silver medical plan for the first time, look for a welcome email from Personify Health beginning January 1, 2027, inviting you to register for the Healthy Behaviors Wellness Program and start earning wellness incentives.
