Benefits Annual Enrollment is now closed.
Thank you to everyone who reviewed and updated their benefits for 2025! Your benefit elections will take effect on January 1.
Remember, after Benefits Annual Enrollment, you cannot update your benefit elections except within 30 days of a qualified life event such as marriage, birth or adoption.
If you didn’t take action during Benefits Annual Enrollment, your current elections will continue (based on 2025 costs and coverage), except for HSA or FSA contributions which must be re-elected every year. Puerto Rico employees who do not take action will not have medical/prescription drug, dental or vision coverage in 2025.
What You Need to Do Now
- If you added a dependent, you must provide their eligibility documentation (e.g., marriage or birth certificate) before their coverage can take effect.
- If you need to choose your benefits as a new hire (or after becoming newly benefits-eligible) or if you need to update your benefits elections after a qualified life event, you will be prompted to choose/update your 2025 benefits after you choose/update your 2024 benefits. Make sure you complete both enrollment processes, for 2024 and 2025.
- If you haven’t already, register on your medical, dental and vision plan carrier’s website or mobile app to see important information about your coverage, access digital ID cards and manage your claims.
- If you enrolled in or switched to a new medical or dental plan or the EyeMed vision plan, you will receive a physical ID card in the mail. For other vision plans, you can access an electronic ID card by registering on the carrier’s website or mobile app.
- If you newly elected STD or LTD insurance or elected/increased Supplemental Life Insurance, complete the online Statement of Health application (can take 5 to 15 minutes), which is subject to carrier approval — also called Evidence of Insurability (EOI).
- If you newly enroll in a standard Bronze, Bronze Plus or Silver medical plan, look for a welcome email from Virgin Pulse (to be known as Personify Health beginning January 1, 2025) inviting you to register for the Healthy Behaviors Wellness Program and start earning your wellness incentives.
What’s New for 2025
What’s New for U.S. Employees
- DXC will continue to pay the vast majority of the cost to provide medical coverage for our employees and their families. In fact, the company will increase its investment by 17% over what we currently contribute. We’re doing this to offset the impact of rising health care costs and help make costs as affordable as possible for you.
- Despite this additional contribution from DXC, if you remain in your current medical plan, you will likely see an increase in your health plan costs for 2025. You may be able to minimize the increase in your costs — and possibly see a decrease — if you switch to a lower-cost carrier. The actual change in your current and new health plan costs will depend on a variety of factors including your current option and carrier, the dependents you cover, and the choices you make for 2025.
- There are no significant changes to your benefits for 2025. However, along with plan costs, provider networks and specific coverage details are subject to change each year. See your 2025 Benefits Guide for details.
- To support your financial well-being, we are offering a new benefit that you can choose during Benefits Annual Enrollment — Whole Life with Long-Term Care Insurance.
What’s New for Puerto Rico Employees
- Due to changes in the health care exchange, we are streamlining our Puerto Rico options to one health plan in 2025. The new plan is a PPO option through MCS, which has no annual deductibles and includes medical/prescription drug, dental and vision coverage. Puerto Rico employees must enroll to have coverage in 2025. See your 2025 Puerto Rico Benefits Guide for details.
- To support your financial well-being, we are offering a new benefit that you can choose during this Benefits Annual Enrollment — Whole Life with Long-Term Care Insurance.
